Principal Product Support Specialist
The Principal Product Support Specialist at Eurofins is a pivotal role within the IT Product Support team, focusing on ensuring the stability and efficiency of business-critical systems. This position is based in Bangalore, India, and offers a hybrid work model with three days in the office and two days working from home each week.
Key responsibilities include providing advanced application support, troubleshooting, and resolution for critical systems. The specialist will collaborate with solutioning, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure system stability, scalability, and reliability. Tasks involve performing periodic activities to ensure compliance with operational processes, analyzing ticket and alert trends to improve operational efficiency, and driving incident and problem management processes. Additionally, the role requires contributing to automation initiatives using tools like Terraform and Ansible, and supporting both Windows and Linux environments, including patching, upgrades, and performance troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate should possess 5–8 years of experience in application support and service desk operations, with a strong background in IIS and web-based applications, including troubleshooting web servers, application servers, and database servers. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash, as well as experience with infrastructure monitoring tools, is essential. A solid understanding of Windows and Linux administration, along with familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, is required. The candidate should also have experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
