Eurofins CDMO Alphora Inc. is seeking a Process Technician to join our dynamic team in Oakville, Ontario. As a key player in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, Eurofins CDMO Alphora specializes in developing and producing active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and finished dosage products for clinical trials and commercial use. The Process Technician will be responsible for executing chemical processing operations in accordance with batch record instructions, ensuring the successful completion of production batches. Key duties include adhering to Environmental, Health & Safety standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). The role also involves accurate batch sheet entries, second-person verifications, equipment setup, routine unit operations such as filtrations and distillations, and maintaining cleanliness of process equipment and facilities.

Candidates should possess a college diploma or degree, though this is preferred and not mandatory. Proficiency in written and verbal English communication is essential, along with a willingness to learn and the ability to follow detailed instructions. The role requires multitasking capabilities, sound decision-making, good interpersonal and time management skills, and familiarity with Good Documentation Practices. While not mandatory, experience in a chemical manufacturing facility, handling hazardous chemicals, working with API or formulation pharmaceutical processing equipment, and operating computerized chemical processing equipment are considered definite assets. Experience with shift work, including 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, is preferred but not mandatory.

The position offers an approximate annual base compensation starting at $50,000 CAD, excluding potential shift premiums or overtime.
