Product Compliance Manager - X Money
The Product Compliance Manager at xAI will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the necessary regulatory, functional safety, and market-specific compliance requirements. This includes overseeing compliance processes such as BSA/AML and Sanctions reviews, risk assessments, and defining requirements and controls to ensure product readiness for market launch. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, operations, product, and compliance teams to proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks.
Key responsibilities include managing the daily product compliance workload by assessing, prioritizing, and documenting BSA/AML and Sanctions risks and requirements for new products. The manager will evaluate new products and significant product changes, proactively identifying compliance risks and communicating findings to the broader compliance team and leadership. Additionally, the role involves partnering with engineering and compliance teams to convert regulatory requirements into effective controls and verifying their performance post-implementation. Spearheading remediation efforts to address control failures and tracking and interpreting evolving regulatory standards and industry trends are also essential aspects of the position.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in product compliance, regulatory program management, or a related role within the fintech or financial services sector. Extensive knowledge of BSA/AML and sanctions regulations is required. Advanced project management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines effectively, are essential. Excellent problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, are also necessary. A bachelor's degree is required, with professional certifications such as CAMS or CRCM preferred.
Compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $160,000 to $200,000 USD, along with equity, comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and various other discounts and perks.
