Product Compliance Senior Specialist

The Product Compliance Senior Specialist will be an integral part of the Product Compliance team in Latin America, focusing on the Brazilian market. This role involves close collaboration with product managers, analysts, and engineers to ensure that Wise's products meet all regulatory requirements and industry standards in Brazil.
In this position, you will conduct comprehensive compliance assessments for new and existing products, develop and implement compliance strategies, and provide guidance to product teams on regulatory matters. You will also monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, update compliance policies and procedures accordingly, and conduct training sessions for staff to ensure ongoing compliance awareness. Your expertise will help mitigate compliance risks and ensure that Wise's products are safe, secure, and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product compliance, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. A deep understanding of Brazilian Central Bank regulations, such as Resolution 96/2021, Resolution 277/2022, Circular 3,978/2020, Resolution 1/2020, and Joint Resolution 1/2020, is essential. Fluency in both English and Portuguese, both written and verbal, is required. Experience with Confluence, Jira, and risk and controls software is a plus.
