Product Counsel

Cloudflare is seeking a Product Counsel to join its dynamic legal team. This role involves providing legal guidance on product development, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and supporting the company's mission to build a better Internet. The Product Counsel will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address legal considerations throughout the product lifecycle.

In this position, the Product Counsel will be responsible for reviewing and drafting product-related agreements, advising on privacy and data protection matters, and assessing potential legal risks associated with new product features. The role also includes staying informed about evolving legal landscapes to proactively address compliance issues and support the company's strategic objectives.

Ideal candidates will have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and a strong background in technology law, particularly in areas such as intellectual property, privacy, and data security. Experience in-house at a technology company or in a law firm specializing in technology transactions is preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential.
