Product Lead - Content
As the Product Lead - Content at Canva, you will be responsible for building a world-class content experience, encompassing platform development, content review, localization, and enhancing the experience for creators and content partners. You will own the strategy and roadmap for your area, working closely with the General Manager and your engineering and design counterparts to drive the vision forward.
Your key responsibilities will include actively driving the strategy to build the world’s most diverse and enriched AI training data library. You will collaborate with key product, design, marketing, and operations stakeholders across the Supergroup and Canva to identify and deliver opportunities to amplify content and significantly enhance the content experience. Additionally, you will manage and lead a group of Product Managers working in the content space to achieve bold content goals and drive content engagement on Canva. This involves creating a vision and defining the future roadmap for your product area, as well as developing a more nuanced and efficient approach to content production to scale effectively while maintaining content quality.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the content and/or marketplace space at a high-growth company with an international presence. A good understanding of the industry's generative AI trends and common practices is essential. You should have a proven track record of collaborating with and leading product teams effectively to deliver complex roadmaps. Strong communication skills are crucial, as you will need to coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, data, design, and operations teams. An ownership mentality and proactive approach are important, with the ability to initiate, own, and drive work from start to finish, identifying opportunities for the largest impact and seeing them through. Being highly organized and able to work under pressure within set deadlines is also necessary.
