Product Lead, Software/Applied AI
As the Product Manager for Software / Applied AI at Lila Sciences, you will play a pivotal role in developing the first AI-native system of record for scientific discovery. Embedded within a dedicated scrum team, you will collaborate across commercial, engineering, design, and scientific research domains to build tools that accelerate the next generation of scientific breakthroughs.
Your primary responsibilities will include deep domain ownership, where you will define the roadmap and become the subject matter expert for your product area. You will lead full-stack product execution, from designing user-facing scientific workflow tools to shaping the underlying data infrastructure that powers our AI models. Additionally, you will facilitate cross-functional orchestration, ensuring cohesive product development between research scientists and engineering teams.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience in product management, particularly in building complex B2B SaaS, data-heavy platforms, or highly technical software products. A full-stack mindset is essential, as is the ability to navigate both user experience and backend architecture. You should thrive in ambiguous environments, translating complex customer requests into clear, prioritized roadmaps swiftly. Operational rigor and a deep understanding of product performance and impact on end-users are also crucial.
