Product Partnerships Lead, AI
As a Product Partnerships Lead, AI at Canva, you will be instrumental in defining and executing the company's strategy with key AI platforms and partners, including OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, Microsoft Copilot, Meta, AWS, Notion, and others. This role is part of the Ecosystem Partnerships and Go-To-Market team, which operates at the intersection of product, growth, and platform strategy to enhance user experiences and drive scalable growth. Canva is a leading online design platform committed to empowering the world to design by seamlessly integrating with the tools marketers and creators use daily.
In this position, you will own senior-level relationships, set long-term partner strategies, and translate these partnerships into tangible product and go-to-market outcomes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading complex partner engagements from strategy and negotiation through to launch and scale, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships, and maintaining active relationships to proactively resolve business and technical challenges. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Legal, PR, Sales, Solution Engineering, and Operations will be essential to launch integrations, improve user experiences, and scale adoption and joint go-to-market success.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience leading strategic, product-led partnerships in AI, collaboration, platforms, SaaS, or developer ecosystems. Exceptional relationship-building and presentation skills are crucial, as is the ability to influence across product, engineering, marketing, and go-to-market teams. A strong balance of technical understanding, product sense, and commercial acumen is required, along with being highly organized and analytical, with experience using data to guide decisions. Comfort operating as both a hands-on individual contributor and a strategic leader is essential, as is being energized by change, complexity, and building scalable solutions.
