Product Strategy Intern, Chemistry
As a Product Strategy Intern on Lila's Chemistry team, you will play a pivotal role in commercializing AI-driven innovations across various chemistry applications, including industrial, specialty chemical, and life science domains. Collaborating closely with Product and Commercial leaders, you will help define market strategies, evaluate business opportunities, and support go-to-market efforts. This position is ideal for a technical MBA student eager to translate cutting-edge chemistry into commercial impact within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Your primary responsibilities will include supporting product and go-to-market strategy development for chemistry platforms, conducting market research and opportunity assessments to inform product roadmap prioritization, and developing strategic materials such as presentation decks and frameworks that communicate technical capabilities and customer value. Additionally, you will build and maintain structured databases to support product pipeline management and synthesize insights from customer discovery interviews to inform product strategy and positioning.
To succeed in this role, you should be currently pursuing an MBA, Ph.D., or equivalent graduate degree, possess excellent analytical thinking skills, and have the ability to synthesize complex information. Strong slide development and presentation skills with attention to visual clarity are essential, as is comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. The ability to quickly understand scientific concepts in chemistry and convey them clearly to commercial stakeholders is also crucial.
