Project Management Specialist I

Eurofins is seeking a Project Management Specialist I to join our team in Portage, Michigan. This role involves managing and delivering projects for key client accounts within our laboratory operations. As the primary liaison between clients and our laboratory teams, the specialist ensures seamless communication and project execution.

Key responsibilities include initiating, planning, and monitoring study activities to meet timeline, financial, and quality objectives. The specialist will create and maintain project tracking tools, manage client expectations through regular updates, and document all project communications and deliverables. Additionally, organizing client visits and supporting sales efforts for new business opportunities are essential aspects of the role.

Candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and attention to detail. Prior experience in project management or customer service within a scientific field is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project and Excel, is required, and experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is advantageous. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in science with a business minor or MBA is preferred. A minimum of three years of relevant experience is also preferred.
