Project Manager – Operations Transformation and Key Group Projects
Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Project Manager for Operations Transformation and Key Group Projects to join its Permanent Improvement Programmes (PIP) team in Brussels. The PIP team functions as the internal management consulting arm of Eurofins, dedicated to achieving operational excellence and margin growth across the company's global network. This role offers the opportunity to lead transformative projects that enhance the performance of Eurofins laboratories and support operations worldwide.
The Project Manager will independently manage projects aimed at developing and implementing new methods and processes in collaboration with business leaders. Responsibilities include full project and stakeholder management, engaging with top Eurofins management, support functions such as purchasing, sales, and marketing, and operational leaders within the Eurofins network. Projects may be part of broader programs or standalone initiatives. Examples of potential projects include executing cost analyses to identify lower-margin services, establishing project management offices for global Key Performance Indicator rollouts, analyzing invoicing process inefficiencies, conducting productivity benchmarks, and guiding national teams in implementing standardized management accounting structures.
Candidates should possess 1-3 years of relevant experience in fields such as business consulting, internal consulting, operational business improvement, process engineering, or operations management. Formal project management or business controlling experience is a strong plus. A scientific, engineering, or business degree from a top university is required, with a preference for life science or chemistry degrees. Excellent oral and written English skills are mandatory; proficiency in other languages is highly appreciated. Strong interpersonal skills, advanced data analysis and visualization capabilities, and the ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses from large datasets are essential. The role also demands the ability to define concepts, align them with key stakeholders across different countries, and describe them clearly and concisely.
