Harbor is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the evolution of our Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform built on Salesforce. This role involves both architecture and hands-on development, serving as the technical owner for the core tool supporting project delivery. The ideal candidate will combine deep solution architecture expertise with development skills, having a strong track record in building scalable solutions for high-growth professional services organizations.

In this position, you will analyze Harbor's current service delivery lifecycle, translating requirements into scalable system designs. As the lead architect and technical lead for PSA and related initiatives, you will guide solution design and define technical standards. Collaboration with Delivery and Enterprise Operations leaders is essential to translate strategic business goals into scalable technical solutions. You will also drive system integration efforts, connecting the PSA with existing software such as Salesforce CRM, NetSuite, and other tools. Additionally, you will architect tooling that supports resource allocation, scheduling, and tracking across projects based on skills, availability, and utilization goals. Configuring workflows for financial forecasting and customizing fields, workflows, and reporting dashboards will also be key responsibilities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and over five years of experience as a Salesforce administrator. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in PSA-related requirements gathering, system design, configuration, implementation, testing, and deployment. Expert-level custom Salesforce development skills, including Apex, LWC, Aura, and Visualforce, along with strong Flow and declarative expertise, are essential. A proven track record as a technical lead or lead architect on complex, multi-phase PSA implementations is necessary. Deep familiarity with PSA concepts such as project financials, utilization, revenue, time, and expense in a professional services context is required. Experience with IT implementation methodologies, including waterfall, agile, and iterative approaches, is also important.
