QC Lab Operations

Eurofins is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Quality Control (QC) Lab Operations team. This role is integral to maintaining the efficiency and compliance of our laboratory facilities, supporting our mission to provide high-quality analytical testing services across various industries.

The primary responsibilities include managing laboratory supplies and reagent inventories, preparing basic media and solutions, and safely handling compressed gases and cryogenic liquids. The role also involves cleaning and maintaining controlled-temperature units, fume hoods, and biological safety cabinets, as well as utilizing electronic management systems to document equipment maintenance and calibrations. Additionally, the position requires coordinating workflow requests, managing laboratory notebooks and logbooks, and supporting multiple teams and departments.

Candidates should possess an Associate degree in Life Sciences or equivalent, along with strong computer and organizational skills. Excellent communication abilities and attention to detail are essential. The role demands physical capabilities such as lifting objects of 25 lbs. or more, extended periods of walking and standing, and handling laboratory equipment. Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) is required, as well as the ability to commute independently between different site locations within a 5-mile radius.
