OneTrust is seeking a Manual Quality Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product, development, and quality engineering teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. As a Manual Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our products, contributing to our mission of enabling innovation through the responsible use of data and AI.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing, writing, and maintaining detailed test cases and scenarios for functional and non-functional testing. You will execute manual test cases across web, mobile, and API-based applications, performing various types of testing such as functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing. Identifying, logging, and tracking defects using defect management tools will be essential, as well as validating bug fixes to ensure issues are resolved without introducing regressions. Additionally, you will collaborate with automation engineers to identify test scenarios suitable for automation and participate actively in sprint ceremonies.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 2-4 years of experience as a Manual Test Engineer or Quality Engineer. Strong experience in manual testing of web applications, creating and executing test cases, and a good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Scrum methodologies are required. Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Qmetry, or Azure is essential. Basic understanding of databases and the ability to write simple SQL queries for data validation, as well as experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman, are also important. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
