Quality Inspection Technician
Anduril Industries is seeking a Quality Inspection Technician to join our team in Lexington, MA. As a key member of the Quality Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our manufacturing processes and products meet the highest standards of quality. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced defense technologies in a dynamic and innovative environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing incoming, in-process, and end-of-line inspections to verify compliance with quality specifications. You will collaborate with Quality Engineering to develop inspection plans for materials, parts, and assemblies, and monitor supplier compliance. Additional duties include executing equipment calibration, supporting material review board processes, and assisting with internal and external audits. You will also be expected to propose and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and quality.
The ideal candidate will possess a technical or associate degree in quality, mechanical, or aerospace engineering, along with at least three years of experience in quality or manufacturing within the aerospace industry. Proficiency with calibrated equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs is essential, as is the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models. A solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and experience inspecting machined parts and electronic components are also required. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
