Quality Systems Engineer
Tulip is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to join our team in Somerville, MA. This role is integral to our mission of transforming frontline operations through AI-native, no-code platforms. As a Quality Systems Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our Quality Management System (QMS) and support our rapid growth in the tech industry.
In this position, you will own and manage individual QMS processes, including internal audits, customer audits, training, quality events, and CAPA management. Your responsibilities will also encompass leading the vendor management process, engaging with IT, Procurement, and Infrastructure to address technical gaps. Additionally, you will interact with customers to discuss quality and validation-related matters, tailoring standard messaging to specific scenarios. Collaborating with Engineering, Support, and Technical Operations teams, you will work to achieve quality goals without overburdening the system. Supporting the deployment and growth of our digital QMS through library app creation and automated validation efforts will also be a key aspect of your role.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 4-6+ years of experience in quality systems management. Proven experience in improving QMS processes and defining key performance metrics is essential. A strong background in digital systems, particularly in implementing new tools within quality or manufacturing environments, is required. Familiarity with regulated sectors such as Life Sciences or Aerospace & Defense, including knowledge of regulations like GDPR, is important. Practical experience in risk management frameworks, developing validation plans for digital solutions, and implementing security controls relevant to quality and manufacturing systems is also necessary.
Tulip offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $140,000 per year, along with company equity.
