Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
What you'll do
- Build and optimize scalable recruiting processes and workflows that drive efficiency, consistency, and a world-class candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Develop dashboards and reports to give real-time visibility into pipeline health, team performance, diversity progress, and hiring outcomes—enabling data-driven decisions across the talent team.
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring teams to identify operational bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and champion best practices across the full recruiting lifecycle.
- Own the configuration, management, and ongoing optimization of recruiting tools, including our ATS (Ashby) and other automation or AI-based solutions used for sourcing, scheduling, and candidate engagement.
