The Regional Sales Consultant role at Strongpoint Partners focuses on developing new business opportunities and strengthening distribution relationships to support the growth of the company's retirement plan services. This position involves engaging with financial advisors, recordkeepers, and other key industry partners to promote Strongpoint's third-party administration solutions and actuarial consulting capabilities. Strongpoint Partners is a tech-enabled retirement services platform serving small- to mid-sized businesses with integrated retirement third-party administration, recordkeeping, payroll, and HR solutions.

Key responsibilities include identifying, cultivating, and closing new opportunities with financial advisors, RIAs, broker-dealers, recordkeepers, and other retirement plan intermediaries. The consultant will deepen and broaden Strongpoint's distribution network across Southern California and other strategic markets, build long-term partnerships with advisors and centers of influence, and execute targeted sales strategies to increase market awareness of Strongpoint's TPA services and retirement plan consulting capabilities. Additionally, the role involves providing insights on plan design, compliance, and administrative efficiency, monitoring industry trends, and collaborating with actuarial consulting and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Candidates should have experience in retirement plan sales, financial services distribution, or institutional sales, with a background in internal or external financial services sales being strongly preferred. Familiarity with third-party administration, defined contribution plans, and defined benefit/cash balance plans is essential. Experience working with actuarial teams and established relationships with financial advisors, recordkeepers, or retirement plan consultants are advantageous. Strong presentation, networking, and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to explain complex retirement plan concepts in a clear and consultative manner, are required. The role demands self-motivation and strong organizational and pipeline management skills.

The position is based in California and offers a hybrid work model, combining in-office and remote work. Strongpoint Partners provides a value-driven employee experience, including flexible workplace options, unlimited paid time off, an inclusive environment, growth opportunities, comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage, and workplace perks like incentive bonus programs and flexible hours.

Strongpoint Partners fosters a culture that values diversity, collaboration, and respect. The company supports ongoing learning and career development, offering employees opportunities to grow within the organization. With a focus on innovation and service, Strongpoint Partners is dedicated to making retirement work for everyone, making it an attractive workplace for professionals seeking to make a meaningful impact in the retirement services industry.
