Reporting Analyst
The Reporting Analyst at VGW will play a pivotal role in driving critical business decisions by analyzing key metrics and contributing to organizational improvement. This position involves gathering and analyzing data, preparing comprehensive reports, and introducing process enhancements throughout the reporting process. The role is situated within the Pixel team in Perth, Australia, and offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on delivering world-class, free-to-play online social games.
Key responsibilities include developing an in-depth understanding of business performance drivers, profitability, and growth. The analyst will communicate findings clearly, monitor all aspects of business and product performance, and build and extend dashboards using tools like Tableau. Additionally, the role involves creating SQL views as needed, owning reporting deliverables for various departments, and documenting changes to metrics to maintain a comprehensive reporting and metric documentation process.
The ideal candidate will possess a BA or MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field. They should have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Python, SQL, Tableau, and data visualization principles and techniques. A strong business and financial acumen, coupled with the ability to interpret large and complex data sets, is essential. The candidate should also be confident in presenting and engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-suite level leaders, and demonstrate strong skills in communication, planning, organizing, problem-solving, analysis, innovation, and attention to detail.
