The Retention Marketing Analyst at Wellhub is a pivotal role within the Marketing team, focusing on engaging and retaining paid subscribers across the US and Canadian markets. This position involves developing content to guide users through their customer journey, encouraging family member additions, and identifying top users to launch ambassador programs. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and scale lifecycle strategies across various channels, including email, in-app messaging, push notifications, and SMS.

Key responsibilities include driving retention and upsell strategies by executing targeted marketing initiatives to increase subscriber retention and family member conversions. The analyst will analyze user behavior and churn trends to proactively address pain points and optimize the subscriber journey. Additionally, they will lead the Ambassador Program, activating subscribers as advocates through referrals and engagement campaigns, and spearhead go-to-market strategies for new partner launches to keep subscribers informed and engaged.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field, with over three years of experience in B2C marketing, CRM, or customer lifecycle management. They should have a proven track record in multi-channel CRM execution, including email, SMS, in-app messaging, and push notifications. Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to testing and optimizing customer retention strategies are essential. Hands-on experience with CRM tools, ideally Braze or equivalent, and proficiency in lifecycle marketing, marketing automation platforms, and data analysis techniques are required.
