Risk Data Analyst
The Risk Data Analyst position at EarnIn is a critical role within the company's Risk Analytics team, focusing on fraud detection, monitoring, and operational support. Based in Bengaluru, India, this role is integral to maintaining continuous, high-quality fraud monitoring that safeguards both customers and the business. Key responsibilities include owning and delivering recurring fraud reports to ensure stakeholders receive timely insights into fraud patterns, continuously monitoring fraud metrics to identify emerging threats, and maintaining dashboards that reflect evolving fraud typologies. The analyst will collaborate with the Fraud Operations team on case investigations, conduct deep-dive analyses on specific fraud events, and document findings to enhance internal knowledge bases. Additionally, the role involves executing ad-hoc analytical projects, supporting the evaluation of new fraud detection vendors, and contributing to strategic fraud initiatives. Leveraging AI-powered tools and automation to improve efficiency in analytical workflows is also a key aspect of the position.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data extraction and analysis is required, along with experience in building or maintaining data pipelines and dashboards. Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to learning and feedback are essential qualities for this role.
