Robotic Engineer

Hyphen Connect is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to join our innovative team dedicated to advancing automation technologies. In this role, you will design and implement sophisticated algorithms and systems to enhance the efficiency and coordination of our robotic fleet, ensuring seamless communication and operation within cutting-edge automation environments.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing multi-agent pathfinding algorithms to prevent fleet deadlocks, building low-latency communication protocols for Robot-to-Cloud and Robot-to-Robot data exchange, and creating cloud dashboards for fleet monitoring and teleoperation handoffs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to align robotic systems with project objectives and ensure optimal performance.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in distributed systems and IoT protocols such as MQTT, WebRTC, and DDS. Experience with fleet management or warehouse automation software is highly desirable, along with a strong background in operations research and graph algorithms. Proficiency in programming languages relevant to robotics development is expected.
