Robotic Safety Systems & Compliance Architect

Hyphen Connect is seeking a Robotic Safety Systems & Compliance Architect to lead the design and implementation of safety systems for our advanced robotic products. This role is integral to ensuring our products meet and exceed industry safety standards, reflecting our commitment to delivering reliable and secure solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting functional safety systems compliant with ISO 13849 and ISO 3691-4 standards. This includes implementing redundant safety-rated PLCs and developing collision-avoidance logic to enhance system reliability. Additionally, the role involves conducting comprehensive Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) on both hardware and software components to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.

Candidates should possess certification or substantial experience in functional safety engineering, with a background in safety-critical systems such as those in the aerospace, automotive, or medical industries. A detail-oriented approach to systems engineering and testing is essential to ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance.
