Sales Development Representative
Fieldwire, a construction field management software company, is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their team. This role is an opportunity to become part of the Hilti, Inc. team, as Fieldwire operates as an affiliate of Hilti. The SDR will play a crucial role in expanding Fieldwire's presence in the construction industry by generating and qualifying new sales opportunities within the small and mid-sized business (SMB) segment. As an SDR at Fieldwire, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, driving top-of-funnel activity and creating a pipeline for the Account Executive team. Your primary responsibilities will include qualifying and engaging inbound leads from the Freemium sign-up flow and marketing campaigns, as well as current Hilti customers. You will conduct targeted outbound outreach via calls, emails, and LinkedIn to generate new qualified opportunities, identify key stakeholders, and initiate contact with construction professionals at small and mid-sized companies. Additionally, you will schedule discovery calls and product demos for the Account Executive team, collaborate closely with Account Executives and Construction Solutions Specialists to build a strong pipeline, maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM (Salesforce), learn and articulate the value of Fieldwire’s construction management platform, stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape, and consistently meet and exceed activity and opportunity generation goals.
The ideal candidate will have 0–2 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role. They should be coachable, curious, and motivated by results, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfort working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment is essential. Experience with outbound sales tools such as Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesforce is a plus. An interest in construction tech or SaaS is also beneficial.
Compensation for this role includes an estimated base salary ranging from $45,000 to $51,000 per year. In addition to the base salary, there is a variable bonus component that can range up to $34,000, depending on performance. This role is remote within the United States.
