The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Tipalti plays a pivotal role in the company's growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. This position is integral to building a robust sales pipeline and involves close collaboration with the broader sales organization. Tipalti is a leading AI-powered platform specializing in finance automation, dedicated to enhancing the efficiency of finance teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities include generating leads through outbound account targeting, lead development, cold calling, and multi-touch activities, as well as following up on inbound marketing-generated leads. The SDR is expected to meet monthly and quarterly objectives for leads and new meetings, demonstrate a clear understanding of Tipalti's product and service value propositions, and work collaboratively with the sales team to drive pipeline growth. Additionally, the role requires embracing and contributing to an ever-changing environment and showing progression within the SDR role.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, with at least one year of inside sales software experience preferred. Experience calling into the CXO level and a proven track record with new account development are advantageous. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional with excellent interpersonal skills, a consistent record of meeting and exceeding lead generation and sales objectives, and a high level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment, and professionalism. Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) and the discipline to maintain high call volumes are also required.
