Sales Engineer (Hybrid) (Position located in New York, New York)
The Sales Engineer role at KnowBe4 involves collaborating closely with Account Executives to bridge the gap between customer needs and product capabilities. This position is integral to the sales process, providing technical expertise to demonstrate how KnowBe4's solutions can effectively address client challenges. Key responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, addressing technical inquiries, leading proof-of-value engagements, and assisting customers in understanding the value of KnowBe4's solutions. The Sales Engineer will also participate in sales calls to identify technical pain points, troubleshoot issues during the sales process, and collaborate with sales representatives to develop effective deal strategies.
Candidates should have at least one year of presales experience or a combination of technical and sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity or SaaS environments. A strong technical foundation in cybersecurity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple customer engagements are essential. Familiarity with security awareness training, phishing simulation, or compliance management concepts is advantageous.
The compensation for this position ranges from $140,000 to $147,000 annually, including base salary, bonuses, and commissions.
