VP SMB Account Executives (Position located in Arlington, Virginia)

The Vice President of SMB Account Executives at KnowBe4 is responsible for leading and managing a team of SMB Account Executive Directors and Account Executives. This role is pivotal in driving the company's revenue growth by overseeing sales activities and enhancing sales techniques to boost productivity. The position is based in Arlington, Virginia, and is open to candidates located in the Washington, DC area.

Key responsibilities include monitoring team performance metrics, partnering with the Director of Training to develop and implement training strategies for Account Executives, and ensuring that SMB Directors effectively assist their teams in managing accurate sales pipelines and exceeding sales goals. The VP will also be involved in recruiting additional personnel, conducting bi-monthly pipeline reviews, maintaining accurate reporting and pipeline management, and providing recommendations on hiring, firing, promotions, and disciplinary actions.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience successfully running a sales organization or territory, with a background in managing a SaaS sales force or a sales force in the IT security space, consistently exceeding quotas. Proficiency with Salesforce, Gmail, Google Docs, MS Office (Word and Excel), and web browsers is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent time management and organizational abilities, and a passion for IT security are essential. The candidate should also possess strong coaching skills, a persuasive communication style, and the ability to motivate a sales team.
