Sample Management Technician
Eurofins Scientific is seeking a dedicated Sample Management Technician to join our team in Sassenheim. As part of this dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in managing samples and supporting activities that contribute to the production of groundbreaking new therapies. Eurofins is a global leader in life sciences, providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries, ensuring the safety and authenticity of products that impact daily life.
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including handling and coordinating samples, ensuring chain of custody in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and communicating with Quality Control (QC) teams. Your duties will also encompass sample receipt and storage, daily and weekly sampling, equipment support activities, media logistics, waste management, decontamination autoclaving, and hospital bin transport. Additionally, you will support other operational areas as required, all while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and working in a clean room environment.
The ideal candidate holds an MLO or HBO (BSc) degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related fields. Experience in a pharmaceutical environment and knowledge of GMP are preferred. Flexibility and proactivity are essential, along with a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekend shifts. Strong teamwork and communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a positive, self-motivated attitude are also important. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
