Sample Receipt Officer

The Sample Receipt Officer at Eurofins is responsible for managing the intake and registration of customer samples, ensuring they meet all operational and quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with both clients and laboratory staff to facilitate efficient sample processing within Eurofins' environmental testing laboratories.

Key responsibilities include receiving and inspecting deliveries to confirm compliance with customer and testing requirements, accurately logging samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and maintaining quality control and quarantine records. The officer also sorts, packs, labels, and distributes samples internally and externally, ensuring timely delivery to laboratory areas to meet analytical holding times and support improved customer turnaround times.

Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to work autonomously with high attention to detail. While a tertiary qualification in Science is advantageous, it is not essential. Previous administrative experience and the ability to effectively manage time and priorities are highly regarded.

Eurofins offers a full-time, permanent position based in Girraween, NSW, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Employees receive an additional 1.5% superannuation on top of the national standard rate.
