Scientist
Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions® is seeking a Scientist in Pharmaceutical Sciences to provide expert technical support for commercial products manufactured both internally and at contract facilities. This role focuses on overseeing product performance across global manufacturing sites, defining and upholding technical standards, and leading or supporting product-specific activities within broader operational teams. The position enhances collaboration across development groups, manufacturing partners, and global operations while maintaining a high-quality technical support model.
Key responsibilities include evaluating and implementing complex technical changes, conducting impurity and risk assessments, and developing innovative solutions to diverse challenges. The Scientist will also provide subject-matter training, offer technical leadership during issue management, and support resource and budget planning. Additional duties involve maintaining skills in core capabilities such as documentation practices, quality and regulatory compliance, data integrity, change management, and product security.
The ideal candidate must hold at least a master’s degree in chemistry, with a PhD being advantageous. Advanced scientific knowledge in pharmaceutics, drug product development, and commercial manufacturing is essential. A strong understanding of GMP, data integrity, quality systems, and regulatory compliance is required. Experience with product lifecycle management, technology transfer, and control strategies is also necessary. The candidate should possess proven problem-solving skills for manufacturing, formulation, and analytical method issues, as well as strong organizational and project-management capabilities.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with flexible working hours from Monday to Friday.
