Scientist I bioinformatics

Eurofins Genomics India is seeking a Scientist I in Bioinformatics to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. As part of the Eurofins Scientific Group, a global leader in genomic services, we specialize in next-generation sequencing, custom DNA sequencing, oligonucleotides, siRNA, and gene synthesis. Our mission is to provide high-quality services to life science industries and academic research institutions worldwide.

In this role, you will analyze next-generation sequencing (NGS) data, including whole genome sequencing (WGS), RNA sequencing (RNASeq), small RNA, metagenomics (16S, ITS, whole metagenome), QTLseq, and exome sequencing. You will develop and implement data processing workflows, automate pipelines, and manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure efficient and accurate data analysis.

The ideal candidate holds an MSc, M.Tech, or PhD in bioinformatics and possesses strong programming skills in Python, PHP, jQuery, and MySQL. Experience in NGS data analysis and the ability to develop and interpret NGS pipelines are essential for success in this position.
