Search Manager, GOC
The Search Manager at WPP Media's Global Operations Centre (GOC) is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and optimizing paid search campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, SA360, and Amazon Search. This position involves close collaboration with regional teams in Europe, the U.S., and Asia to ensure consistent and high-quality campaign execution. The role is based in Colombia, with options for remote or hybrid work arrangements.
Key responsibilities include developing strong relationships with counterparts in regional teams, enforcing paid search best practices, and ensuring consistent work delivery. The Search Manager will also serve as a point of escalation for the team, taking ownership of resolving challenges, and will line manage 2-5 direct reports. Providing timely and actionable feedback to the team to aid in their development and progress is also a critical aspect of this role.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and have at least 3 years of experience managing paid search campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, SA360, and Amazon Search. A minimum of 1 year of previous leadership experience is required, along with advanced Excel skills. Fluency in English at an advanced level (B2–C2) is essential for effective communication with global teams.
