Seasonal (TEMP) Full-Time Lab Technician
Eurofins is seeking a Seasonal Full-Time Lab Technician to join our team in Salinas, California. The Lab Technician will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests on incoming samples, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Key duties include sample registration, data entry into the Eurofins eLIMS system, and verifying and submitting test results promptly. The technician will also assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment and collaborate effectively with team members to meet sample turnaround time goals.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma; an AS or BS degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field is preferred. Essential skills include plating, plate reading, and sample preparation. Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving attitude are required. Applicants should be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed and must have authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
The position offers an hourly wage between $17.00 and $17.50. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm, with additional hours as needed.
