Morgan & Morgan is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. As a Case Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our attorneys by managing a diverse caseload and assisting in the development of settlements. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to our mission of advocating for clients in personal injury cases.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include daily interactions with clients, both existing and potential, through telephone and in-person meetings. You will be tasked with ordering medical records from providers, communicating with clients and healthcare providers throughout the treatment process, and obtaining necessary documents to support injury and liability claims. Additionally, you will interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, negotiate case settlements, and manage organized case files from intake to closure under the direction of an attorney.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree (preferred) and have prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager. A minimum of two years working in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is preferred. Strong negotiating skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential. Excellent writing and communication skills, along with attention to detail, are also required.
