Morgan & Morgan is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Case Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our attorneys by managing a diverse caseload and assisting in the development of settlements. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to our mission of advocating for consumer rights and providing exceptional legal services.
In this role, you will engage daily with clients, both existing and potential, through telephone and in-person interactions. Your responsibilities will include ordering and reviewing medical records, obtaining necessary documentation to support injury or liability claims, and interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances. Additionally, you will negotiate case settlements, maintain organized case files, prepare comprehensive demands for submission to carriers, and manage case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree (preferred) and have prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager. A minimum of two years working in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is preferred. Strong negotiating skills, the ability to work collaboratively within a team, proactive client interaction, and the capacity to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute are also required.
