Senior Accountant
Midi Health is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a rapidly growing, venture-backed healthcare and technology company, we are dedicated to improving access to women's healthcare. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financials, strengthening close processes, and supporting compliance across revenue, payroll, and sales tax as the company scales.
The Senior Accountant will own and manage inventory-related accounting, including maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper valuation in accordance with GAAP, and reconciling inventory purchases and adjustments. Responsibilities also encompass overseeing key areas of the monthly close process, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, supporting revenue recognition under ASC 606, and ensuring compliance with state and local sales tax filings. Additionally, the role involves supporting payroll and equity accounting, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve systems and processes.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and possesses 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP, particularly ASC 606, and experience in healthcare, technology, or high-growth environments are essential. Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite or Sage Intacct are required. A CPA or CPA-track designation, experience with multi-entity operations, and prior involvement in system implementations are preferred.
The base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $140,000, dependent on experience. Midi Health offers a competitive base salary, plus equity and benefits.
