Senior Accounting Analyst | Argentina
The Senior Accounting Analyst at EBANX will lead and execute monthly and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This role involves preparing and reviewing account reconciliations, analyzing financial data to support business decisions, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and international guidelines such as IFRS. The analyst will collaborate closely with Finance, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A teams to maintain cross-functional alignment and support both external and internal audits by preparing necessary documentation and responses.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and improving accounting processes to drive efficiency and automation, reviewing journal entries to ensure proper documentation, assisting in the preparation of financial statements and management reports, and proactively identifying risks to propose solutions that strengthen controls and accuracy. The role demands a proactive approach to process improvement and a commitment to maintaining high standards of financial reporting.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 4 to 6 years of experience in accounting or audit, preferably within the fintech sector. A strong knowledge of accounting principles, including IFRS or local GAAP, is essential. Proficiency in month-end closing and financial reporting, advanced Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite are required. The role also demands a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, excellent communication skills, and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
