Senior Analyst - Hi-Res, Eurofins Environment Testing Northern California, West Sacramento, CA

Eurofins Environment Testing is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our team in West Sacramento, California. This role involves preparing and analyzing environmental samples using high-resolution mass spectrometry (HR/MS) instrumentation, adhering to scientific and EPA methodologies. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and calibrating laboratory instruments, analyzing quality control and client samples, and reviewing data to ensure high-quality results. Additional duties include evaluating current analytical systems, diagnosing complex problems, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity. The role also involves training new employees on instrumentation and methodologies, as well as researching emerging technologies to keep the laboratory at the forefront of the industry.

Candidates must possess at least five years of experience with HR/MS in a production laboratory setting, along with a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or a related field. Proficiency in performing extractions and instrumental chromatographic analyses across various environmental matrices is essential. Strong technical skills, logical thinking, and effective organizational abilities are required, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
