Senior Analytics Engineer
Jusbrasil is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to serve as the strategic link between data infrastructure and insight generation. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing the semantic layer, ensuring that business rules are centralized and consistent across the organization. Your efforts will enable analysts to focus on high-value prescriptive analyses by providing organized, accessible, and efficiently processed data. Collaboration with Data Engineers, Product Analysts, and stakeholders will be key to ensuring data drives company decisions.
Key responsibilities include building and managing the semantic layer to centralize business rules, overseeing data governance and organization to ensure quality and standardization, and directly interfacing with stakeholders to translate business needs into efficient dimensional models. Additionally, you will implement AI tools to automate development, documentation, and data processing, and maintain and evolve orchestration processes, unit testing, and version control by applying best engineering practices to the analytical context.
The ideal candidate will have advanced SQL skills for complex transformations and query optimization, solid experience in dimensional data modeling and analytical environments, and practical knowledge of programming languages (preferably Python), orchestration systems (such as Airflow or Dagster), and version control tools (like Git). Experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly in optimizing tables and processing in BigQuery, is essential. A background in data warehousing or data lakehouse architectures with a focus on cost and performance optimization is also required. Familiarity with generative AI in workflows and experience with unit testing and continuous integration pipelines are important.
Preferred qualifications include experience with A/B testing infrastructure and the ability to bridge technical expertise with business analysis.
