The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining Android-specific development tools, including simulator setups and command-line interfaces. The engineer will also contribute to defining and improving mobile testing best practices and methodologies across Canva, support the creation of company-wide triage workflows, and mentor less experienced engineers.

Candidates should have a strong foundation in computer science and software engineering practices, with proven expertise in modern Android development, including a deep understanding of Kotlin, concurrency, and reactive programming. Experience with cross-platform testing frameworks and familiarity with test automation patterns are important.
