Senior Associate, Corporate Development
As a Senior Associate in Corporate Development at Lila Sciences, you will be an integral part of the Origins team, the company's asset creation arm. This role involves working closely with leadership to evaluate and advance scientific opportunities, building analytical frameworks, and developing financial models that support strategic decision-making. In this position, your primary responsibilities will include building and maintaining financial models to assess scientific opportunities, developing partner-facing materials and presentations, and evaluating opportunities within the context of Lila's platform. You will also support the structuring and execution of ventures from early-stage diligence through deal closure, synthesize complex scientific and financial information for senior leadership, and collaborate across various teams to advance active opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience, preferably with a background in investment banking, private equity, or growth equity, followed by experience in venture capital, startups, or similarly fast-paced environments. A bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent technical training, is required. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, the ability to produce high-quality partner-facing materials under tight timelines, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Lila Sciences offers competitive compensation, including bonus potential and generous early equity. The expected base salary range for this position is $68,000 to $117,333 USD.
