Senior Associate, Culture Operations & Global Payroll

The Senior Associate, Culture Operations & Global Payroll at Headout is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes for both India and global teams, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across various geographies. This role also involves overseeing employee benefits programs and supporting daily people operations, from onboarding new hires to addressing ongoing employee queries. Key responsibilities include independently handling the full payroll cycle—inputs, processing, compliance, and reporting—for both Indian and international teams. The role also entails managing employee benefits such as insurance and reimbursements, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring smooth operations. Additionally, the Senior Associate will support people operations workflows, including onboarding, documentation, and addressing employee inquiries, thereby enhancing the overall employee experience.

Candidates should possess 2-4 years of experience in managing end-to-end payroll processes in India, including statutory compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc., and have some exposure to global payroll or international teams. Experience in managing or coordinating employee benefits and a solid understanding of India's labor laws are essential. The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with HR/payroll tools and systems, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
