Senior Backend Software Engineer | Professional Services
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Wellhub, you will join the Professional Services team, dedicated to creating customized solutions that meet our clients' specific needs. Wellhub is a global company headquartered in New York City, with team members in 11 countries, on a mission to make every company a wellness company. This remote position is open to candidates located anywhere within Brazil.
In this role, you will serve as a technical reference for an international team, building robust APIs and integrations across various systems to ensure successful project implementation. Your responsibilities will include mentoring and guiding team members, promoting best practices in backend development and database management, and engaging in client-facing activities to map demands and perform validations. Additionally, you will drive the creation of detailed reports, oversee data manipulation according to client preferences, and monitor business metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a senior in backend development and database management, with advanced knowledge of JavaScript, NodeJS, and TypeScript. Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB is essential, along with experience in working with AWS cloud services, containers, and serverless architectures. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are required, as well as advanced or fluent English proficiency and effective client-facing skills.
