Staff Frontend Software Engineer | BASE Team
Wellhub is seeking a Staff Frontend Software Engineer to join the BASE (Business Architecture Services) team in Brazil. This remote position offers the opportunity to work from anywhere within the country. In this role, you will lead frontend development within the BASE Focus Area, influencing architecture and design decisions across teams. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable and maintainable solutions to complex scenarios, collaborating closely with product managers and designers to translate visions into technical solutions, and serving as a key communication point with other teams. Additionally, you will mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and collaboration.
The ideal candidate is a specialist frontend software engineer with strong expertise in React and React Native, along with a solid understanding of related technologies. Experience in distributed systems, modern system designs, cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, Backend for Frontend (BFFs), Micro Frontends, and both web and mobile applications is essential. Proficiency in designing and developing complex modern applications, working with RESTful and GraphQL services, and architecting large-scale, multi-tier web applications is required. Strong communication skills in both Portuguese and English, a collaborative team spirit, and a commitment to continuous learning and self-development are also important.
