The Senior Bilanzbuchhalter (d/m/w) position at Auto1 is a crucial role within the finance team of one of Europe’s leading digital automotive platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German GAAP), as well as contributing to the consolidation of group accounts. You will handle complex transactions, oversee tax returns and declarations, and collaborate with auditors. Daily tasks involve managing general ledger entries, reconciliations, and supporting automation and process improvements within the finance function.
Candidates should bring a completed further education as a Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) or a similar recognized qualification, along with several years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in a corporate or dynamic scale-up environment. Strong knowledge of German accounting standards, tax regulations, and proficiency in relevant accounting software such as SAP or DATEV are essential. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as fluency in German, are required.
