Senior Bioanalytical Chemist - Scientist II
Eurofins is seeking a Senior Bioanalytical Chemist - Scientist II to join our team in Saint Charles, Missouri. The Senior Bioanalytical Chemist will be responsible for developing and conducting production assays primarily within ADME Toxicology Services, with additional support for BioTherapeutics Services as needed. Key duties include developing Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) methods for ADME/DMPK applications, troubleshooting and maintaining mass spectrometers and HPLC units, and preparing and managing inventories of buffers and reagents. The role also involves providing solutions to complex problems, initiating process improvements, and ensuring high data quality and reproducibility.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience, a Master's degree with 7 years of relevant experience, or a Ph.D. with 3 years of relevant experience. Essential qualifications include direct experience with LC-MS in areas such as bioanalytical method development for small and/or large molecules, drug metabolism and metabolite identification, or mass spectrometry-based proteomics. Proficiency in troubleshooting LC-MS systems, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working within a Quality Management System are also required.
