Senior Business Development Manager - Biotherapeutics
Eurofins is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead sales initiatives for its Biotherapeutics (BTX) services within the North American market. This role is integral to Eurofins Discovery Services & Products IBLSC US, LLC, a division dedicated to supporting clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. The primary responsibilities include achieving sales targets for BTX services, understanding large molecule drug discovery workflows, and staying abreast of industry trends. The role involves prospecting within new and existing accounts, developing and maintaining high-level client relationships through virtual and face-to-face meetings, and utilizing technical knowledge to drive business and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the manager will provide feedback to operations to refine marketing strategies, seek innovation opportunities for BTX services, and effectively participate in customer events such as webinars and tradeshows.
Candidates should possess a degree in biology or a related science and have over five years of relevant sales experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications, including LinkedIn, is essential. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are required. Experience with CRM tools like MS-CRM, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are also important. A valid driver's license and proximity to a major airport are necessary, as the role requires up to 30% travel.
The compensation for this position ranges from $110,000 to $140,000 annually, with additional bonus potential.
