Senior Cloud & Identity Engineer

8am is seeking a Senior Cloud & Identity Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on implementing and supporting secure, scalable solutions across our enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with architecture and security teams to enhance our technical systems.

Key responsibilities include managing Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems, implementing Zero Trust policies, and integrating enterprise Identity Providers (IdPs) such as Okta, Entra ID, and Ping. The role also involves building and supporting REST API integrations and middleware platforms, ensuring secure networking in AWS and/or Azure environments, and maintaining clear documentation and environment standards.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience implementing enterprise IAM/Zero Trust solutions, demonstrated ownership of production cloud deployments, proven API integration experience, production AI implementation experience, and scripting proficiency. Additional experience in leading greenfield initiatives, event-driven architecture design, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and enterprise-scale governance frameworks is advantageous.
