Senior Collections Specialist

Sterlington PLLC is seeking a Senior Collections Specialist to manage the end-to-end collections process for assigned client accounts. This role involves proactive outreach to clients with outstanding balances, negotiating payment plans, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve billing issues. The position is based in Lisbon, Portugal, and requires working hours aligned with US Eastern Time.

Key responsibilities include making outbound collections calls, monitoring accounts receivable aging, applying and reconciling payments, and maintaining accurate records of all collection activities. The specialist will also prepare weekly collections updates, analyze client payment behaviors, and serve as the main point of contact for partner-level collections escalations.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable roles, strong communication skills in English (C2 level or near-native), and proficiency in Excel and accounting or ERP systems. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts are essential.
