Senior Collections Specialist
Sterlington PLLC is seeking a Senior Collections Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to our finance operations, focusing on managing and improving the collections process to enhance cash flow. The Senior Collections Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end collections process for assigned client accounts. Key duties include making outbound collections calls, negotiating payment plans, resolving billing disputes, and maintaining accurate records of all collection activities. This role requires proactive monitoring of accounts receivable aging, identifying potential collection risks, and collaborating with internal teams to address billing questions and improve processes.
Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or related finance roles. Strong communication skills in English (C2 level or near-native) are essential, along with a solid understanding of accounts receivable processes, invoicing, and payment applications. Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting or ERP systems are also required. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
